A Next Level Weekend
Over three unforgettable days, hundreds of women from Barbados, Bermuda, Jamaica, Canada and the USA came together for Women’s Day Weekend 2026, “Bloom Together: Next Level.” What unfolded was a shared experience of growth, honesty, bold conversations and powerful connection. With the support of 18 sponsors and 8 contributing partners, this year’s event came to life in a way that reminded us exactly why spaces like this matter. Here’s a look back at the moments that moved us, stretched us and pushed us closer to our next level.
Weekend Roundup Recap and Highlights:
Over 700 women attended from Barbados, Bermuda, Jamaica, and the USA
18 sponsors and 8 contributing partners.
Day 1: Opening Night
We opened the weekend the only way we know how with intention, edge and positivity.
The “Next Level” Fireside Chat set the tone with a refreshingly honest conversation: “If I’m Honest, Here’s What Women Really Need Right Now.” Featuring Senator The Honourable Lisa Cummins, Marilyn Sealy of FLOW/Liberty Communications and Christa Soleyn of Soleyn Wellness, this wasn’t surface-level talk. It was a grounded and necessary conversation. From ambition and money to rest, relationships and wellbeing, these women didn’t hold back and kept things real. Then Christa Soleyn, slowed things down by inviting every woman in the room to step into the version of herself she’s becoming.
Of course, we had our moments of fun:
Pass the Mic - the Next Level Hot Seat Cards sparked bold, insightful conversations
The Reset Lounge delivered the ultimate soft-life experience with:
complimentary massages by Chakra Spa
beauty touch-ups and sensory indulgence thanks to The Fragrance Bar by Native Caribbean, Maybelline, Aventa Barbados and Popping Pigments who kept the ladies glowing.
Truly the final special touch of the night was the spontaneous catwalk moments as Egi ladies jumped in on stage with confidence on full display.
Day 2: Summit Day
Summit Day was all about moving from inspiration to action. We kicked off with a powerful keynote from Dr. Oneeka Williams, who challenged us to: Believe. Annihilate. Move. #BAM
No excuses. No hesitation. Just forward movements in reach of our next level goals.
Then came the Leadership to Legacy masterclass with Lynda and Dario Richards. This was certainly one of those sessions that makes you sit up straighter and think bigger. Together, they guided us from problem to purpose, helping women take aim at what truly matters.
Other standout moments included:
The Next Gen Panel, bridging emerging and established leaders across industries
Our vibrant Bloom Marketplace, showcasing incredible women-led brands
The launch of our Egi & Bloom merch (yes, we showed up in style)
A much-needed stretch session with Egi Ambassador Megghan Michael
High-energy giveaways and sponsor moments
And intentional networking pods, where real connections were made
Plus, one major opportunity moment:
A book deal opportunity with Lucky Books Publishing, opening doors for women ready to tell their stories and build something bigger
Day 3: Bloom Breakfast
The weekend ended on a grounded and deeply connected note.
Sherrie Lynn Lilley took us on a powerful journey, challenging each woman to step into her extraordinary self. Her own story reminded us that growth isn’t always pretty, but it’s always worth it. Real more about it here.
Then came one of the most touching moments of the entire weekend. A shared circle where women opened up about the one thing they wish someone had told them sooner. An incredibly vulnerable and healing moment, breaking down barriers and building connections in an indescribable way.
But things didn’t end there. Building on the launch of our Bloom Scholarship from 2025, we had two significant giveaways to present, in celebration of excellence and possibility.
The Bloom Scholarship
Our 2026 recipient, Shinaye Scantlebury, was awarded the Egi Women Bloom Scholarship - an honour rooted in growth, leadership and purpose. Her award was presented in tribute to Kayla Philips, whose legacy continues to inspire so many within our community.
The Bloom Book Award
This year one lucky woman walked away with a generous book deal from Lucky Books Publishing, valued at USD $15,000. This was a life changing opportunity to turn her story into impact, influence and income. A moment that truly captured what Next Level looks like.
To every woman who showed up, leaned in, shared openly and chose growth, thank you.
To our speakers, sponsors, partners and team who poured into every detail, thank you for helping us create something truly special.
Women’s Day Weekend 2026 was powerful because of you.
And if this weekend showed us anything, it’s that we are only just getting started. This weekend was a reminder to us that when women are given the right environment, opportunities and access - something shifts. Ideas expand. Confidence grows. Possibilities feel closer. The impact doesn’t end here. It shows up in boardrooms, businesses, communities and homes long after the event is over.
Another level awaits.
